It is our intention to provide our guests with a professional and therapeutic massage. The following policies and procedures serve as a guide for first-time and regular guests of Mario’s Massage. Unforeseen events occur requiring cancellation of your appointment. Since the therapist works by appointment, they do not receive compensation for appointments that are missed. In our commitment to provide a unique and outstanding experiences to all of our guests and out of consideration for our therapists’ time, we have adopted the following policies:
SESSION LENGTHS
Your scheduled session length includes time for your intake to be completed, for you to disrobe, and re-dress.
GRATUITY
It is customary to tip your therapists. Appropriate gratuity is 15%-25% of the full session price. Please keep this in mind when tipping on specials.
PRIOR TO ARRIVING FOR YOUR SESSION
Please complete your online intake form. If you are unable to complete your form online you may complete a paper form when you arrive. Please note, this will shorten your time on the massage table receiving your massage.
ARRIVAL TO YOUR APPOINTMENT:
Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled time. All sessions have a specific time schedule and early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience. If late arrival is inevitable, your service(s) may be shortened and will end at the scheduled time.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Please provide at least a 24 hour notice if you need to reschedule or cancel a treatment. This gives us enough time to fill the slot. Our automated booking system, massagebook.com does send reminder emails and text messages.
LATE ARRIVAL POLICY:
We regret that late arrivals will not receive extension of scheduled appointments. The session will be shortened to fit the schedule. The full fee will be charged.
NO SHOW POLICY:
Guests who do not show without cancelling are still responsible for payment.
PACKAGES
We occasionally offer package discounts for our loyal clients. In exchange for these discounts, the clients agree to abide by the above policies. Appointments that are not cancelled according to policy, will result in the package massage credit being deducted. Packages are not normally refundable (if in special circumstances a refund is granted, the massages used will be deducted from the amount paid at full price).
PRIVACY POLICY:
Your massage therapy records are kept in the strictest confidence by this clinic. All guest records are kept in a secure place and only those who need to see a guest’s file for legitimate business or professional purposes have access to them. Your records will not be released to third parties, including health care providers and insurance companies without your written consent. Records may be surrendered if required by law.
CONDUCT:
Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Unacceptable behavior will result in the termination of the massage session and the guest will not be allowed to return for further massages.
